Tout afficherWhole House Enjoy a break on the edge of the Lake District, relaxing in the garden taking in the view towards Penrith's Beacon. Ample parking for around 5 cars, bus stop just across the road on the route to Pooley Bridge (2.5m) and Windermere, and a country pub just a short 100m walk awayChild Friendly - We can provide two travel cots, baby bath, high chair, toilet step, and seat, while the garden has a gated ring-fence to keep the little ones and pets safe.There are 3 bedrooms, two have super-king size beds which can be split into twins if required with the third having a king-size. The master suite on the ground floor has a large low-level shower for partially disabled access. The "Apple" suite has its own ensuite shower room while the "Chapel" room has a family bathroom adjacent to it with a freestanding bath for everyone's use after hard days exploring!The living area is open plan and spacious with two 3m bi-fold doors. Heating is via a wood pellet stove and central heating, which works automatically and only requires filling on longer winter stays. There is a lawn, patio and gravel feature garden to the front and a large gravel car park and veg garden to the rear. We live in the house just across the yard and share the same drive and gates ensuring great security and service.There is off-road parking for up to 5 cars around the back of the barn, as well as a 7KW charge point. See our Youtube Channel for a video including the parking space.The barn has been designed with sustainability in mind, using a wood pellet stove for heating, but with also 5.4KW of solar PV panels the barn exports spare electricity to the national grid making your stay CO2 positive for the environment.Kitchen Living Room Open Plan Kitchen and Living AreaRelax together with your group in the spacious living area, with two sofas, breakfast bar for four, dining table for six, 50" smart TV, bifold doors and southing valley view.Cook family meals together in our brand new kitchen with oven, hob, extractor, dishwasher, fridge freezer, wine fridge, air fryer, toaster, condiments, spices, pots pans, cutleryMaster Brewer Our spacious master room (5x3m) is located on the ground floor, giving it a beautiful vaulted ceiling in the single storey stone built area.Boasting a Super King Size bed (which can be split into twins if required) and adjoining en-suite bathroom with low level 1350 x 900mm shower.With a very generous floor area it lends it self so well to being a family room with a fold out bed and two travel cots being available on request. Master Brewer occupiers also enjoyApple Bedroom Named after the vintage apple tree just outside its South East corner,Apple is our middle size room (4.5x3m), enjoying a Super King Size bed which can be split into twins if required, as well as an en-suite bathroom with 1350x900mm shower.Chapel Bedroom Chapel is our smallest room, 3.2x2.8m, but still boasts a King Size bed, and benefits from the best view down the valley over Yanwath Hall towards Penrith.The bathroom is one step away and has a free standing bath complete with the same top quality towels and soap plus bubble bath!Utility Measuring 3x2m your utility is equipped with a washing machine, tumble dryer, sink, clothes airier and ironing board.There is also a lot of storage for longer stays and you will find some extra gear for pets and some games for the kids.Garden and Parking There is ample parking for 5 cars and is equipped with a 7KW EV charger. The parking area leads to a spacious garden wrapping around to the front of the barn, including lawn and gravelled areas.

The town's two wide main streets are lined with greystone houses and a number of teashops, all overlooking the lake.A popular way to explore the area is to take a boat from Pooley Bridge, leave the boat at Howtown, and then walk to Glenridding and catch the boat back to Pooley Bridge. This was one of Wordsworth's favourite walks and offers views of the lake and Helvellyn.The Eamont Way The Eamont Way is a walking route from Penrith Railway Station to Pooley Bridge Steamer Pier, offering an ‘Active Travel’ alternative to the car, bus, or taxi for these 5.5 miles.
